Summer Intensives 2026

Live online courses running June 15 through August 22, 2026, organized by Stage and Register. The full slate — from Cambridge Latin for younger students through the Advanced Authors Program — is now open for inquiries. A 20% discount applies to recorded live classes across all summer intensive offerings.

Maureen O’Donnell Scholarship — 2026 Nominees

Three Emerson Latin scholars — Edward Cha, Victoria Gyuyeon Park, and Jihan Lee — have been nominated for the 2026 Maureen O’Donnell Scholarship for Academic Excellence. The nomination is reserved for Gold Medalists on the Advanced examinations of the National Latin Exam. All three are sophomores or juniors. None is yet eligible to accept the award. The nomination is the point.

Emerson Latin Advances to the National Super-Regional Round

The Emerson Latin varsity team — the only team representing South Korea in a field of 156 institutions — has advanced to the National Super-Regional Round, placing in the top 20% of the nation.

Maureen O’Donnell Scholarship — 2025 Nominees

Five Emerson Latin students were nominated for the 2025 Maureen O’Donnell Scholarship — the NLE’s recognition of its most advanced Gold Medalists. All five are ineligible: none has yet reached their senior year.

The Witherspoon Seminar — Hyuksun Kwon & Seohyeon Lee

Hyuksun Kwon and Seohyeon Lee were each selected — one of twenty young men, one of twenty young women chosen worldwide — for the Witherspoon Institute’s week-long seminar on the ancient philosophical tradition.
