Our ultimate goal is to help students gain proficiency in Latin language and literature. We prepare students for top scores in rigorous exams like AP Latin. Students who demonstrate progress are also eligible to participate in international competitions throughout the year—earning medals that enhance their academic profile and college applications.

Students who come unprepared will be sent to a Zoom breakout room to work independently. A class recording will be shared so they can catch up later on their own time.
All classes are held live on Zoom. While students are not required to keep their cameras on at all times, they may be asked to turn them on if they appear distracted or inattentive. This helps ensure full participation and a focused learning environment.
Regular attendance is strongly encouraged to ensure the best learning experience. If a student must miss a class, a parent’s notice is required to excuse the absence. All classes are recorded, and the recording will be shared with the student to help them stay on track.
Students must complete assignments independently. Use of AI tools and translation software (e.g., Google Translate) is strictly prohibited and considered a violation of academic integrity. Parents will be notified of any suspicious behavior.
Upon registration, students receive a course syllabus, book list, class sheets, and access codes for Zoom and Google Classroom.
We use success in international competitions as a benchmark. Students who score highly receive honors such as:
Summa Cum Laude (Gold)
Maxima Cum Laude (Silver)
Magna Cum Laude (Bronze)
Cum Laude (Honorable Mention)
