Congratulations on a Perfect Score!
We are incredibly proud to announce that four of our students have achieved a perfect score of 5/5 on the 2024 AP Latin Exam:
Susie and Gene Yang
Susie and Gene Yang's remarkable achievement is a testament to their dedication and hard work. They started learning Latin with us as complete beginners, meeting once a week for 30 weeks to complete the entire language sequence. This sequence typically takes a boarding school student meeting five days a week about 2-3 years to finish. Following this, they met twice a week for another 30 weeks, successfully completing our AP program just in time for the exam in May.
Hunjae Lee
Hunjae Lee joined us with an introductory knowledge of Latin. He rapidly progressed through the intermediate and advanced courses and completed our AP Latin program in time for the May exam. Mastery of Latin forms is crucial for success on the exam, and Hunjae quickly identified patterns and familiarized himself with the syntax and style of Caesar and Vergil, the two authors tested on the exam.
Jerome Kwon
Jerome Kwon came to us with a solid understanding of Latin grammar but lacked practice reading authentic Latin prose and poetry, a skill that many boarding school students spend a year developing. With just three months before the test, Jerome diligently followed our structured AP curriculum and achieved a top score.
