Announcing Our 2025-26 National Classical Etymology Exam Champions!

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students in this year’s National Classical Etymology Exam. Their dedication to exploring Latin and Greek roots demonstrates both scholarly excellence and a genuine passion for language learning.

Competition Overview

The National Classical Etymology Exam is a renowned international competition that celebrates students’ mastery of Latin and Greek roots in the English language. By unlocking the origins of words, participants sharpen their vocabulary and analytical skills—key strengths that boost performance on exams such as the SAT and ACT.
