  • This grammar-based curriculum has its roots in the Middle Ages of Europe and is intended for serious students planning on taking the AP Latin Exam within the shortest time possible and participating in international Latin contests at the highest levels.

  • The student will be exposed to advanced prose and verse passages from a variety of Roman authors and poets in preparation for boarding school courses on Latin readings and the AP Latin curriculum.

  • It is highly recommended that the student join at the start of the course to cover and be ready for all Caesar passages that may appear on the exam, but they are allowed to join anytime after the course is under way and take as many classes as their schedule allows.

IGCSE Latin Literature

  • This course is open to students either preparing or about to prepare for the IGCSE Latin Exam. Although a complete understanding of Latin grammar and syntax is not a prerequisite, students are expected to have some experience translating original Latin texts into English.

  • We thoroughly cover ALL Vergil and Cicero passages that will appear on the upcoming exam. We not only practice presenting literal translations of the Latin passages into English but learn to analyze the texts for literary devices and broader, thematic elements, crucial for scoring top marks on the exam.

  • Students who join our course are preparing to enter British-based education systems and universities in the United Kingdom, Australia, and others. While UK boarding schools typically complete this course in two academic years meeting every weekday, we take 30 classes to finish all the requirements for the literature component of the exam.
