Generally, to be eligible, the student must have finished (1) our Oxford Latin course at the beginning level, (2) a year of Latin in high school, or (3) a semester of intensive Latin in college.

Beginning Level
This is a very rigorous, college level curriculum covering the entire Latin language content–that usually takes the boarding school student two to three years to complete–in the course of one short summer. The student must be highly motivated and must spend quality time, at least two hours per class, for homework requiring memory and translation work.

Intensive Latin
High
This is one of our most accelerated courses created specially for international and foreign language high school students in Korea planning on continuing with Latin studies in the fall, winter, and spring terms.
This grammar-based curriculum has its roots in the Middle Ages of Europe and is intended for serious students planning on taking the AP Latin Exam within the shortest time possible and participating in international Latin contests at the highest levels.
Though we meet once a week, students are expected to devote quality time and effort in memorizing and mastering various forms.

To be eligible, the student must have completed all Latin grammar and had some practice giving literal translations of Latin texts.
The student will be exposed to advanced prose and verse passages from a variety of Roman authors and poets in preparation for boarding school courses on Latin readings and the AP Latin curriculum.
This course is required for those planning on taking our accelerated coursework in AP Latin in the fall term.

AP Latin: Caesar
High
To be eligible, the student must have completed all Latin grammar and have sufficient practice offering precise translations of original Latin literature into English.
The AP Latin Exam requires a close study of two Roman authors: Caesar and Vergil. In this course we thoroughly analyze ALL sections of Caesar’s Bellum Gallicum that appear on the AP Latin Exam and practice with test questions.
It is highly recommended that the student join at the start of the course to cover and be ready for all Caesar passages that may appear on the exam, but they are allowed to join anytime after the course is under way and take as many classes as their schedule allows.
